Aya Sofya (Sancta Sophia)
Beautiful church built almost 1500 years ago. When the Ottomans took over they turned it into a mosque. However Ataturk turned it back into a historical site, so it shows both the Christian and Moslem influences
The Roman Emperor Constantine had both created the new eastern capital, which took his name, and brought Christianity to the Empire. This eventually led to both a political and religious division of the Roman Empire. Constantinople, also known as Byzantium, was the new Rome, later capital of the Byzantine Empire. And its great domed edifice, Sancta Sophia, became the central shrine for the Eastern Orthodox Church, which broke with the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church.
The Emperor Justinian merely wanted to build the greatest Christian Church in the world, and this mosaic shows him presenting Sancta Sophia to Mary and Jesus. It's name means Church of the Divine Wisdom in Latin. However, the Byzantine Empire would replace Latin with Greek.
The interior of Sancta Sophia contains numerous golden Byzantine mosaics, which are being restored.
Much restoration was still underway when I visited in 1998. Scaffolding greatly limited interior photography.

A Visit to Tsinghua University
As we know , Tsinghua University is very famous in China, almost all the students like to study there , it is also my dream.
When I first arrived there , I was deeply impressed by the atmosphere of study. This is not only a good place to study , but also a place of interest. You can see the students reading around the garden , playing in the playground. Some travellers like to be here to see and feel its atmosphere.
It is my pleasure to be there and If I can study there ,that will be even better!
